1 bag mini-marshmallows
1 box (18.25 ounce size) chocolate cake mix
1 can (21 ounce size) cherry pie filling
1 small box cherry gelatin mix
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13" baking pan. Line the bottom of the pan with the marshmallows.
Mix the cake mix according to package directions and pour over the marshmallows. Mix together the can of cherry pie filling and the gelatin.
Spread on top of the cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes or till done.

I'm sure this cake will be delicious. I'm just wondering if you recommend serving it warm or cold. Also, how can I tell if it's done; the toothpick comes out sticky but it could just be because of the marshmallows. Thanks

We won this cake in a 4H raffle and it was sooooo good we had to track down the recipe. So easy to make and it really does serve atleast 12 not 6 as posted.

Very nice and easy--I don't like the tartness of cherries so I used strawberry jello with the pie filling:)
