Mini Penne With Three Cheese Sauce And Peas

ingredients
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup white onion, chopped
1 jar three cheese pasta sauce
1 package (9 ounce size) frozen peas
1 package (16 ounce size) mini penne pasta
1 cup water
directions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Saute onion, butter and oil in a large skillet for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add sauce, water and frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the peas are cooked through. Continue cooking until sauce returns to regular consistency.
Cook pasta according to the package directions. Drain and toss with the sauce. Serve.
