A simple "unstuffed" cabbage roll recipe made with ground beef, rice, a hearty tomato sauce, and shredded cabbage
1 1/2 pound ground beef
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (7.5 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 can (10 ounce size) condensed tomato soup
1/2 cup long grain rice, uncooked
4 cups shredded green cabbage
1/3 cup tomato juice
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring, until the beef is no longer pink.
Drain off any excess grease and return the pan to the heat.
Add the tomato sauce, water, and half of the tomato soup to the skillet. Mix well then stir in the rice.
In the crock pot, layer half of the meat mixture then half of the shredded cabbage; repeat the layers.
In a bowl, combine the remaining tomato soup with the tomato juice until blended. Drizzle over the top layer of cabbage in the crock pot.
Cover the crock and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
Serve hot.

Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Started this, then found I had no tomato sauce! I always have tomato sauce! So i cooked down 2 cans of diced tomatoes and added another can of tomato soup, but the kind woth basil. Anyway it worked, casserole is delicious!!
This looks like the recipe I've been searching for! I love the flavor, but hate the work. By the way, there's no way sauerkraut goes in Stuffed Cabbage (Cabbage Rolls). Mozzarella, either. I saw a recipe that called for Mozzarella!!!

My family loves cabbage rolls but I really hate making them and doing all the rolling etc. This recipe is perfect for us because they get all their favorite flavors together and I dno't have as much work. Food doesn't always have to be served in pretty little packages to be delicious! Thank you for this recipe!!!

I love cabbage and his meal was savory, and I even ended up bagging up some and freezing it for future easy to go to meals!!!! I did make a few alterations due to not having the tomato juice, I instead used a can of diced tomatoes with juice mixed with a little more tomato sauce and also added in one can of sauerkraut (drained. I did1lb ground beef and 1/2 lb sausage! It's simply delicious!

This is my new go to recipe for cabbage rolls. Rolling them the traditional way is painstakingly slow and this gives you the same flavors.

So much easier than rolling the cabbage around a filling yet tastes just as good!

This recipe is really, really good. But try using Libby's crispy sourkaut as the base in the bottom of the crock instead of the cabbage. And put italian stewed tomatoes instead of sauce. Personally, I think it goes from really good to awesome!!!
