1 1/2 pound ground beef 2 medium onions, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 can (7.5 oz.) tomato sauce 1 cup water 1 can tomato soup 1/2 cup long grain rice 4 cups shredded cabbage 1/3 cup tomato juice
In large skillet, combine beef, onion, garlic and salt and pepper. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Return to heat. Add tomato sauce, water and 1/2 of tomato soup. Mix well. Add rice. Stir to combine.
Place half the meat and then half the cabbage in cooker. Top with remaining meat and then the cabbage. In a bowl, combine the tomato soup with juice. Mix well.
Pour into the slow cooker. Cook on low 8-10 hours, or on high 4-6 hours.
