Bacon-Cauliflower-Broccoli Salad With Sunflower Seeds

ingredients
1 pound bacon
1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces
1 large bunch broccoli, stems removed, cut into bite-size pieces
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sunflower seeds
Dressing
2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
directions
Fry or bake bacon until crisp. Blot bacon on paper towels to remove grease. Let cool, then crumble bacon into small pieces.
In large bowl, combine the cauliflower, broccoli, onion, cheese, sunflower seeds, and crumbled bacon. Set aside.
In small bowl, combine Miracle Whip, sugar, and vinegar. Thoroughly combine dressing with salad ingredients.

Salad can be prepared the night before, but do not add the cheese until just before serving.
