Lemon-Pepper Pork Chops With Rice

ingredients
6 pork chops, boneless or bone-in
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon-pepper seasoning
2 cups white rice
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large frying pan, brown both sides of pork chops in hot oil. Arrange browned pork chops in a single layer in a 9" x 13" pan.
Mix together the cream of mushroom soup, water and lemon-pepper. Pour on top of pork chops. Cover pan with tin foil then bake pork chops for one hour.
Prepare rice according to the package directions. When pork chops have finished cooking, layer them on top of cooked rice and pour sauce over both.
