Ziti With Mexican-Style Meat Sauce

ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 medium green pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
2 cups water
1 can (6 ounce size) tomato paste
2 jars (2 ounce size) pimientos
1 package (1.5 ounce size) enchilada sauce mix
1 package (16 ounce size) ziti macaroni
directions
Drain and dice pimientos.
In a 12" skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, green pepper and onion, stirring occasionally until meat is browned and pepper and onion are tender.
Stir in water, tomato paste, pimientos and sauce mix. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare ziti as label directs. Drain. Serve meat sauce over ziti.
