It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Great cran-apple punch recipe with a secret tip. Filling up your ice cube trays with lemon-lime soda will keep your punch ice-cold without making it diluted and watery over time.

4 cups lemon-lime soda, to freeze
1 quart apple juice
2 pints cranberry juice
2 bottles (2 liter size) lemon-lime soda
Fill ice cube trays with the first measure of lemon-lime soda and place in the freezer until frozen solid, about 3 hours. Place the remaining ingredients in the refrigerator to chill.
When ready to serve, combine the apple juice, cranberry juice, lemon-lime soda, and the lemon-lime ice cubes in a punch bowl or other serving container. Mix and serve.

Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
