Bloody Mary Cabbage Casserole

ingredients
1 head cabbage, leaves removed
1 pound ground beef
1 medium chopped onion
2 tablespoons Italian seasonings
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper
salt, to taste
1 bottle (32 ounce size) spicy Bloody Mary mix
1 cup raw white rice
directions
Brown the ground beef and onion in a deep skillet or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess fat. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage. Stir until mixed.
Layer cabbage leaves in a 9x13-inch glass or metal baking dish. Pour the ground beef mixture over the cabbage.
Bake at 375 degrees F for one hour.
