Even though these cookies start with a box of brownie mix, they come out tasting like they were made from scratch.

ingredients
1 package (17-20 ounce size) brownie mix 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats, uncooked 2 eggs 1 tablespoon water 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 cup chocolate chips, optional 1/2 cup flaked coconut, optional
directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two baking sheets.
Combine the dry brownie mix, oats, eggs, water, and oil in a mixing bowl. Mix until combined. Add chocolate chips and/or coconut if desired.
Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until just set.
Remove the baking sheets from the oven. Let the cookies cool on the sheets for 5 minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container. These cookies also freeze well.

I've tried cake mix cookies before but all I had on hand was a box of brownie mix. This recipe turned out great! So chocolately and loved the texture.

Easy, quick and delicious! I made these without the chocolate chips! Everyone loved them! YUM!

Made these without adding any mix-ins as I used a triple chocolate chunk brownie mix. Mix was 21.2 oz and the eggs/oil/water combination was perfect. I did find the mix was easier to work with though by letting it sit about 5 minutes so the oats softened a bit. Definitely a keeper!

I added walnuts and didn't use choco chips. Not too moist at all. Delicious and kids loved them too!

I used 1 cup of coconut and 1 cup of chocolate bits - the batter was a little wet but the cookies are great!

I followed the recipe as instructed, and the cookies were great. I have tried many recipes on this website. Sometimes you get a hit, others a miss. This is definitely a hit. I also added some broken vanilla cookies that we had made a few days ago. I found the "cookie dough" to be simple to handle after refrideration. This is now added to our regular cookie recipe box. Thank you.

i didnt add the water in, and i used only 1/4 cup of veg oil and it was still too moist! the cookies came out looking like turds and i will never do this again. horrible!
instead, use chocolate cake mix, add 1 stick of butter, 1 tbspoon water, and 1 egg. and follow these directions, it comes out wayy better.
The consistency could easily vary by the size/type of brownie mix used (as can be noted by some of the positive reviews this recipe has).

I'm sorry, but, to me, the two flavors just do not mix. It's probably good to some people, but not for me. I think the cooking time was a little too long - they came out like crispy critters and crumbled to pieces trying to get them off the cookie sheet.

It must be writter for small eggs, I used large and it turned out way too wet for cookies. (use small eggs or leave off the water til the end and see if you need it.)
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
