Tangy Glazed Turkey Meatloaf - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

1 pound 85% fat ground turkey
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons ketchup or chili sauce
1/3 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
salt and pepper, to taste

GLAZE

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the turkey, bread crumbs, onion, poultry seasoning, ketchup, milk, and egg in a bowl. Season as desired with salt and pepper. Mix the meatloaf until just combined (do not overwork the meat).

Put the meatloaf into a loaf pan and pat down gently. Place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.

Combine the brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Pour evenly over the meatloaf. Return the meatloaf to the oven and let bake 20 minutes longer or until the meatloaf is cooked in the middle.

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
