Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

This recipe was easy to make up and the taste is PERFECT, if you're looking for a bar that tastes like a pecan pie. However, it falls apart fairly easily. I think the recipe could use a bottom crust or something-- maybe a cookie base or a blonde-brownie base. Just something to give it stability for serving. But they are SO yummy, if you don't care about a crumbly mess, they'd be great with some whipped topping or ice cream. Yum!
