1-2 hrs
ingredients
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 dash salt
5 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
directions
Mix together oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter or margarine. Cut into the oat mixture with a pastry blender until the mixture has crumbs the size of small peas. Set the crumb mixture aside.
Arrange peach slices in an ungreased 10 x 6 inch baking dish. Using a spoon, sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the fruit. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes or until the fruit is fork tender.
Serve warm in dessert dishes with ice cream.
