Green Chili Cheese Crisps

ingredients
4 cans (7 ounce size) whole green chiles, drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers
1/4 teaspoon cumin
salt, to taste
6 (8-inch size) flour tortillas
oil
1 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Put first 6 ingredients into a food processor or blender, and process until smooth.
Transfer to a saucepan. Simmer in saucepan over medium heat until mixture thickens, for about 30 minutes. Stir often.
Fry tortillas in hot oil, just till crisp. Drain. Place tortillas in a single layer in a baking pan. Spread the green chili mixture over the crisp tortillas and top with grated cheese.
Bake for about 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve with salsa.
