Spiced Ritz Crackers
- add review
- #118298
ingredients
1 package (4 pack size) Ritz crackers
1 package dry Ranch salad dressing mix
2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
directions
Place half the packs of Ritz crackers in a gallon size jar (they don't have to be stacked, but be careful not to crushed them). Pour half of each of the ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes, and seasoning salt over the crackers in jar. Repeat with the remaining halves of crackers and spices. Pour oil over crackers.
Place lid on jar. Lay jar on its side and gently roll the jar around a few times. Repeat every 15 minutes for a few hours so the crackers absorb the seasoning flavors and oil.
When oil is absorbed, store the crackers in a zipper-type bag or airtight plastic container. Will keep for several weeks.

This was too salty for me so I'd recommend using less seasoned salt or less ranch dressing mix. Good level of spice overall, just too salty. Easy to make.
