Craving a culinary vacation? This island-style macaroni salad is your ticket to paradise, mixing crab meat, peas, and mayo for a flavor fusion that's pure tropical bliss.

ingredients
1 package uncooked (16 ounce size) elbow macaroni
1/2 pound crab meat, chopped
3/4 cup frozen peas, thawed
2 stalks celery, chopped
4 large hard boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
1/4 teaspoon pickle relish
1/2 onion, chopped
3 cups mayonnaise
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Heat a large pan of water to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and cook as directed on the package until al dente. Drain well and rinse with cold water.
Place the cooked pasta in a large bowl. Add the crab meat, peas, celery, hard boiled eggs, pickle relish, chopped onion, and mayonnaise and mix well. Add salt and pepper as needed.
Serve immediately or for best results, cover the bowl and chill for 24 hours before serving for the flavors to meld.
