Pork Steak Casserole
1 1/2 pound pork steak, cut into strips
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 can (4 ounce size) mushrooms, drained
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
rice or noodles, cooked
Brown pork in oil in skillet. To remove excess fat drain on paper towels.
Place pork strips and all remaining ingredients in crock pot for 6 to 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
Serve over noodles or rice.
Oven method: Place in a greased casserole dish and baked for 2 hours at 350 degrees F.
