September 22nd is National White Chocolate Day

White chocolate is made primarily of cocoa butter, milk, and sugar. To be sold in the US, it must be at least 20% cocoa butter. While it has a distinct flavor from chocolate, it is used similarly in candy and baking and also derives from the South American cocao bean.
