Cheese, beef, and noodles combine in a trifecta of taste in this casserole-style goulash recipe. Consider your dinner dilemma deliciously solved.
30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 bag (10 ounce size) egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 container (8 ounce size) sour cream
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 package (16 ounce size) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Cook the egg noodles in a large pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain well and transfer the noodles to a large bowl.
Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Transfer the ground beef to the bowl with the noodles.
Add the sour cream, cream cheese, tomato sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to the goulash mixture. Mix well. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top the goulash with the remaining shredded cheese. Place the goulash in the oven and bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve the goulash casserole hot.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
