It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Need a fast and flavorful snack? This sardine dip combines salty sardines, tangy salad dressing, and just a hint of garlic and onion. Great with crackers or for spreading on bread.

2 cans (4 ounce size) sardines
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup salad dressing, like Miracle Whip
Drain the sardines well then place in a bowl. Mash them with a fork until they are almost smooth.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and salad dressing. Mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper (taste first as sardines are salty).
Serve immediately with crackers or bread slices. Or, cover tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

I had to almost double the miracle whip amount. It was too pasty otherwise and fishy. I also added a couple of pinches of cayenne to round out the flavors. Have to like fish to enjoy this dip but we do so we did enjoy it.
