Slather this creamy liverwurst spread on crackers or cocktail bread for a snack or party appetizer.
30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 cup chopped liverwurst
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons pickle relish
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper, to taste
directions
Combine the liverwurst, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, relish, onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy.
Season the liverwurst with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving dish. Cover the dish and chill for 30 minutes or until ready to serve. The liverwurst can be held in the refrigerator for up to 3 days before serving.
