New York may be better known for subways than submarines, but there's no denying that these are some mean ham and salami sandwiches.

4 hoagie rolls (6-inches long)
olive oil
red wine vinegar
dried Italian seasoning
12 slices provolone cheese
12 slices boiled ham
12 slices hard salami
2 thinly sliced tomatoes
1/4 head shredded or leaf lettuce
1 small white or red onion, sliced into thin rings
Split the hoagie rolls lengthwise, being careful to not cut all the way through.
Sprinkle both cut sides of the rolls with olive oil, vinegar, and Italian seasoning.
Place 3 slices each of the provolone, ham, and salami on the bottom half of each roll. Top with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and onions as desired. Close the sandwich and serve.

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
