It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

These easy meatball sandwiches are perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Simply simmer the meatballs in your favorite spaghetti sauce, and pile them on a hoagie bun.

20 frozen meatballs
1 jar (26 ounce size) spaghetti sauce
4 hoagie buns
Mozzarella cheese, as desired
Combine the meatballs and spaghetti sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through.
Meanwhile, slice the hoagie buns lengthwise, but not all the way through. Scoop out some of the inside of the bottom half so a shallow trough if formed.
When the meatballs are hot, spoon 5 meatballs onto each bun along with some of the sauce. Top with the cheese. Serve hot.
