This 11 minute strawberry jam recipe is so easy. It's the perfect way to use up fresh strawberries, and it only takes a few minutes to make. Great on toast, biscuits, or even just eaten straight from the jar!

I was wondering if you cold use any other fruit in this recipe? I would like to use raspberries.

    • Honestly, you'll just have to try it. The sweetness and/or water content of the fruit could be different so you may need to adjust for that.

This is a fabulous and quick jam/jelly recipe. I was able to make a pint and 1/2 of preserves. A couple of quick hints I have to share. 1st is if you swirl a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in your jars it will kill germs, a good step to take before filling them. And second, to get your jars to seal w/o a hot water bath, you can fill them while the preserves are boiling hot, tighten the lid down and then turn the jars over for about 15 minutes. Just be sure to upright the jars or you will have lids full of jam. ;)

this was pretty easy to make. i substituted splenda sugar instead of real sugar (although splenda is made from real sugar) so that it would be more caloric and diebetic friendly - and it was really good! I will make this again!
