Strawtini, anybody? This cocktail is as elegant as it is simple. Muddled strawberries with vodka and simple syrup combine for a martini that'll have you going back for seconds. And thirds.

2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce Fraises de Bois liqueur (optional)
1 dash simple syrup
3 fresh strawberries
1 fresh strawberry for garnish
directions
Crush fresh strawberries in a shaker, using a muddler or the flat end of a bar spoon. Add ice, vodka, Fraises de Bois, and syrup to taste.
Shake the mixture sharply and strain into a frosted martini glass. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
