Honeyed Hot Calamari

ingredients
4 calamari hoods
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
5 1/2 tablespoons honey
5 1/2 tablespoons maple-flavoured syrup
5 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
5 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
5 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
directions
Cut calamari open, score shallow diagonal slashes in crisscross pattern on inside surface; cut into 2 x 8cm pieces.
Heat half the oil in wok or large pan, add garlic and half the calamari, cook, stirring, 1 minute; remove. Repeat with remaining oil and calamari. Return calamari to wok with remaining ingredients, cook, stirring, few minutes or until calamari is tender.
