Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

This punch recipe is absolutely delicious and so easy! I served it at a bridal shower for about 24 people. Everyone came back for thirds and fourths, so I had to double it. I sliced limes to float on top, and floated frozen strawberries to help keep it cool. I served it in champaigne flutes...Very pretty!
