Salty Senorita's Fundido Dip

ingredients
1 tablespoon onions, julienne cut
1/2 jalapeno, julienne cut
1 teaspoon olive oil
4 ounces shredded pepper jack cheese
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons pico de gallo (fresh salsa)
For Dipping
tortilla chips
jicama
celery sticks
directions
In a small skillet over medium-high heat, saute onion and jalapeno in olive oil until tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
Place shredded cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave 20 seconds. Stir, then microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
Place sauteed onions and jalapenos in a small crock or serving dish. Add melted cheese, then milk; stir until smooth. Top with pico de gallo.
Serve with chips and/or vegetables for dipping.

made this and it was very good. only had the slices of pepper jack and had a little trouble getting it to melt.kept zapping it in the micro-wave though and finally got it liquified. turned out great, evertbody loved it. for the pico i used recipe #57324. will make again but will use the shredded cheese
