DANGER! Lye is dangerous!!! and Caustic!! This recipe is dangerous. It does not say what size can of lye to use. It does not tell you: ALWAYS add lye slowly to water. NEVER add water to lye... it can EXPLODE! ALWAYS wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Splashed lye in the eye = blindness. FUMES can be fatal, don't breath. Make soap outside in well ventilated space. NEVER use aluminum pan or utensil. Lye reacts very badly with Aluminum.
