I have been using this recipe for 50 + years. It was handed down from my grandmother to my mother and on to me. I have always had success with it.

  2. JustG REVIEW:

It works! Within 3 days I could not find an ant no matter how much I searched!

  3. Paula REVIEW:

    It really works. Thank you!

  4. rene REVIEW:

It is the only way to do it cause it is simple quick and affordable plus everyone should have Borax at home to use for other things as well. If you make a preparation it could be a solid or liquid formula just make sure to place a label on the closed container and keep it far away from being reachable from everyone but the main users.

  5. Anonymous REVIEW:

I did NOT expect this to actually work since most homeopathic kinds of things don't usually turn out right. This did the trick - no more ants. Impressive!

We had an ant problem this year and this took care of it. Cheaper than an exterminator or chemicals!

  7. Guest Foodie REVIEW:

This works great! I used it last year and now I need to make a new batch. The recipe I have calls for boiling water, adding the sugar to dissolve, then adding the Borax and soaking small pieces of bread in it. You place the bread in all of the places where you see ants (keeping it away from children and pets.)The ants will bring it back to the queen and the nest. Give it a few days.... problem solved! I also tried it in my garden when my Inpatients were being attacked by other insects and it worked great as well!

  8. nomoreants REVIEW:

I'm confused by the other review because this is supposed to be a powder that you sprinkle on the ground, not liquid. That said, the granular version works and we have no more ants!

  9. Trainer REVIEW:

Borax For Ants works well, I have tried it. I have used brown sugar with the Borax and it have worked much better than white sugar. A caution to everyone, dont use bleach for a subsitute for borax this can be very dangerous. This year I have made this mistake when our local general store was out of borax and sugested to use bleach. The bleach reacted with the sugar and created pressure and entense heat within the the spray bottle.
