6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of chicken soup
1 can (8 ounce size) mushroom pieces
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup white wine
1 dash salt
1 dash black pepper
1 dash garlic powder
Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
In a bowl, stir together the soups, mushrooms, onion, wine, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well blended. Pour over the chicken.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until done (can cook on high for 3 hours).
Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked noodles or rice.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
