I do not have a slow cooker---How can I make this in the Oven?

    • We haven't tested this recipe in the oven but you should be able to bake it similarly to other recipes on the website which call for baking it at 350 degrees F for about an hour (or until the chicken is cooked through).

This recipe has been on my dinner rotation for quite some time. My husband and I love it !! I omit the wine and don't use a lot of salt and pepper. The gravy is wonderful on rice or mashed potatoes served with a salad. Delicious!!!

Recipe was delicious. Could only find large chicken breasts and gravy became quite "soupy". Did size of breast cause that? I used Mrs. Dash original (salt free) to season them and was quite pleased with it. Will make often. Very tender and moist. Will also use chicken to make chicken grape salad. marycates30@yahoo.com

    A little bit too salty.

My family really liked this recipe, and my children do not tend to like much! I would cook for 6 hours instead of 8 and add some seasoning with a kick - maybe worcestershire sauce or a strong wine. Made it for 10 people.
