Four Layer Dessert

ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1 stick margarine, softened
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 container Cool Whip, divided
1 package instant pudding mix, your choice of flavor (6 oz.)
3 cups milk
directions
Combine flour, nuts and margarine. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool.
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Put on first cooled layer.
Mix pudding with milk and pour on second layer. Chill. Spread with rest of Cool Whip. Garnish as desired.

I've been making this recipe since the early 80's. And it's my families favorite. I get reguests every year to make it. And I have to admit it's my favorite too, so I never mind making it. As the end results are so well worth the time it takes in making it. So I give it ***** STARS
