Why haven't we been making pudding this way all along? Adding ice cream to pudding yields an extra creamy and rich flavor. Clearly superior in every way. Change up the flavors, or swap out low-cal ingredients for a less guilty version.

1 cup cold milk
1 small package instant pudding mix, any flavor
2 cups softened ice cream, any flavor
Optional Garnishes
crushed cookies
whipped cream
shaved chocolate
candy sprinkles
fruit
Combine the milk and pudding mix in a mixing bowl. Beat on low speed with an electric mixer for one minute or until smooth.
Fold the softened ice cream into the pudding mix.
Spoon the pudding into individual dessert dishes and chill for 1-2 hours.
Garnish with crushed cookies, whipped cream, shaved chocolate, candy sprinkles or fruit, if desired, before serving.
