Slow Cooker Knockwurst Casserole

ingredients
1 pound knockwurst
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
directions
Slice the knockwurst into 1/2-inch slices. Place in the crock pot with the onion, noodles, soup, and milk. Sprinkle with the black pepper then stir well to combine.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 5 hours or until the knockwurst is heated through and the noodles are tender. Stir in the cheese and let cook until the cheese is melted (about 15 minutes).
Stir again then serve.
