ingredients
2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and hulled
2 pints fresh blueberries, rinsed
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2  shots brandy
directions
Place the strawberries and blueberries in a bowl. Mash with a fork or the back of a spoon. 
 Stir in the sugar and brandy and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture stand at room temperature for 1 hour. 
 Stir the mixture then serve the sauce over cake, ice cream, waffles, etc.
