Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Cube Steak Skillet Supper

ingredients
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash black pepper
2 cube steaks
2 tablespoons oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 can (14 ounce size) sliced potatoes, drained
1 can (14 ounce size) French style green beans, drained
1 can (11 ounce size) condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted
paprika
directions
In a large resalable plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add steaks and shake to coat.
In a skillet, brown steaks on both sides in oil. Set aside and keep warm. Add onion, potatoes, and beans to skillet. Stir in soup. Return steaks to skillet. Cover and simmer for 15 minute or until meat is tender. Sprinkle with paprika.
