1 cup grits, cooked
1 box cornbread mix
4 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 cup hot milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 pound bulk sausage, cooked and drained
directions
Spray large casserole pan with cooking spray. Mix grits, cornbread mix, eggs, butter, salt and pepper. Layer sausage and grits mixture. Top with cheese. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees F.
