The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Microwave Stuffed Flank Steak

ingredients
2 pounds beef flank steak
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 cups soft bread crumbs
OR
1/2 package seasoned stuffing mix
water if necessary
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1 can (10.75 ounce size) condensed tomato soup
fresh parsley
directions
Pound flank steak well, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Combine butter, onion and celery in medium glass dish. Microwave on roast 3 minutes or until vegetables are partly cooked. Stir in bread crumbs and sage. Moisten with water if necessary.
Spread stuffing lengthwise on steak and roll up, tie with strings in 3 to 4 places (or use large toothpicks). Place in 1 1/2 quart (10 x 6 inch) glass baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on simmer for 20 minutes.
Pour soup over meat and sprinkle with parsley, recover and continue on simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or until fork tender. Let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
