Salsa Cube Steaks

ingredients
4 beef cube steaks (about .25 pound each)
1/2 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper, to taste
1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 jar (16 ounce size) salsa
water, as needed
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place the steaks in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish and season with cumin and salt and pepper to taste.
Arrange the pepper and onion over the meat and pour salsa over all, adding some water if needed to cover the bottom of the baking dish.
Cover with foil. Bake until steak is cooked through and tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
