Korean meatballs are a delicious and easy way to get your Asian food fix. These little meaty balls of goodness are perfect for a party or a quick and tasty weeknight meal.

1 package (12 ounce size) fresh bean sprouts
1 pound ground beef
1 block (16 ounce size) soft tofu
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup finely chopped green onions
3 cloves garlic, mashed
1/4 cup toasted sesame seed
1 egg
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons sesame oil
cooking oil for frying
Bring a pan of water to boil over medium-high heat. Add the bean sprouts. Let cook for 3 minutes then drain and rinse in cold water. Wrap the bean sprouts in paper towels and squeeze out any excess water. Coarsely chop the bean sprouts into approximately 1/2-inch lengths.
Wrap the tofu in a piece of cheesecloth and squeeze to remove any excess water.
Place the tofu in a large bowl. Mash well. Add the bean sprouts and ground beef and mix gently.
Add the soy sauce, sugar, green onions, garlic, sesame seeds, egg, bread crumbs, and sesame oil. Mix well. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
Heat the cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook, stirring frequently, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
