This is a recipe that my family started making about 50 years ago, and is still my favorite and the easiest ice cream youâll ever make. I like to add in a small jar of maraschino cherries with the pineapple - definitely adds something extra. Also, the original recipe was for a 6 pack of 10 oz bottles of orange crush with one can of sweetened condensed milk, which would equate now to 5 12 oz cans of orange soda, but the extra sweetened condensed milk in this recipe makes it a bit creamier. Iâve also made it with strawberry crush, but didnât like it as much.

I cut oranges in half filled with the mixture and froze. My guest were really impressed

I didn't care for the texture with the pineapple in it but the flavor was good. I'd omit it next time and just do all orange.

I omit the crushed pineapple and make this strictly orange sherbet. IT's incredible! I use store brand orange soda because I think it's a little orangier than the name brand. Delicious!
