Baked Apple Chunks

ingredients
4 medium apples
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons water
directions
Core and peel apples, then cut into thick chunks. Arrange in 8-inch square baking dish.
Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with margarine and sprinkle with water.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until apples are soft but not mushy. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
