directions
Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray with vegetable cooking spray. Wash apples and dry thoroughly with paper towels. Push one craft stick into core through stem end.
Place caramels, water, vanilla and cinnamon in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high (100% power) for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 30 to 45 seconds or until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Holding apple by stick, dip into melted caramel, turning to completely coat it. Scrape off excess caramel and place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining apples. Refrigerate until firm.
Place solid ivory and shortening in small resealable plastic bag. Microwave on medium (50% power) for 1 minute or until it softens. Knead bag until mixture is smooth. Place dark chocolate and shortening in another small resealable plastic bag. Microwave on medium (50% power) for 1 minute or until it softens. Knead bag until mixture is smooth. Snip off one corner of each bag and drizzle apples with solid ivory and then dark chocolate. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Refrigerate until set. Store apples in cool place.
