Hi Linda here. I'm trying your recipe for the first. I'm 67 and not set in my ways. My husband took one look at the cheese and said on apple crisp? Yes cheddar I said. We both loved it ice cream for me. No ice cream for him..

You may have noticed that I don't review a lot of dessert recipes here on CDKitchen. I'm not a big consumer of sugar in general so I tend to skip them unless we have a larger testing audience. Brent picked this recipe to make for Valentine's Day. The idea of apples and cheese has never appealed to me but I was willing to try it since Brent was making it. 4 helpings later... What a delicious recipe! Brent served it right from the oven with vanilla ice cream.
