The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
12 zucchini
1 cup rice
1 small can tomato sauce
1 can (16 ounce size) tomatoes
cinnamon
pepper to taste
allspice to taste
1 1/2 pound ground lamb
1 teaspoon salt
water
directions
Cut stems and scoop out seeds of squash and wash (A core cutter works well. Just twirl it around inside the zucchini, carefully, trying not to cut into the skin). Cook the insides of the squash in another pan with a few tomatoes, and sliced onions. garlic salt and salt and pepper.
For Stuffing: Mix rice, lamb and all spices together. stuff squash with mixture, do not pack tightly. Arrange in pan. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt and pepper over squash.
Add enough water to cover, bring to a boil; then reduce to medium-low and cook for 25 minutes. Same stuffing may be used for green peppers and small eggplants.
