Double Squash Bake

ingredients
1 1/2 pound zucchini
1 1/2 pound summer squash
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 cup cold butter, cut into bits
3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Cut the zucchini and summer squash into 1/2-inch slices. Place in the bottom of the crock pot.
Sprinkle the squash with the salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Gently stir the mixture.
Top the squash with the butter then sprinkle evenly with the bread crumbs and cheese.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the squash is tender.
