Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

1 package brownie mix (8" pan size)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
8 ounces pineapple tidbits
1 small firm banana, sliced
1 medium kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 ounce semisweet chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread the batter into a greased 12" pizza pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Spread over crust.
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Toss banana slices with juice; drain well. Arrange bananas, kiwi, strawberries and pineapple over crust, then sprinkle with pecans.
In a microwave, melt chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over fruit. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
