- #44794

ingredients
1 3/4 cup cooked, cubed chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (8 ounce size) refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine chicken and 1/2 the cheddar cheese. Separate crescent dough into triangles. Place about 3 Tbsp chicken mixture on wide end of each triangle and roll to opposite point.
In medium saucepan, combine soups, milk and 1/2 the remaining cheddar cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Pour half of soup mixture into greased 8 or 9 inch square baking dish. Reserve remaining soup mixture for sauce. Arrange filled crescents over hot soup mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. During last 10 minutes, sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serve with remaining sauce poured over the top.

Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Huge hit at my house. Good thing too as I doubled it since using half cans of the two soups seemed wasteful (suppose I could have just used one full can of one of them). I think next time I'll add some sliced mushrooms to the sauce too.

This was really delicious. I had some leftover diced chicken to use up when I found this recipe. I have 5 kiddos so I doubled it and used 12 Grands! biscuits, rolled out w/rolling pin & filled instead of the crescent rolls because I already had them on-hand. I also used colby-jack cheese, instead of cheddar, which I had on-hand. It was a huge hit with every kid! I will make this again. Next time I will try to add some peas & carrots to my cheese & chicken mixture to give it some veggies. It tastes like pot-pie on richer and more delicious. It would be easy to used fat-free soups, skim milk and low-fat biscuits or crescent rolls to make this a more healthful meal.

This was so ridiculously easy and yet incredibly enjoyable. My 3 year old wanted thirds - but I indulged him only with seconds. It's definitely a keeper! My one recommendation: stick with the suggested servings and definitely use the square pan! I only had a rectangular pan which required me to double the sauce so there was enough to cover the bottom of the pan & pour over the top. Also be sure to use the recommended 3 tbsp of filling! When I was doing it, I thought it was too much so I scaled back to 2 tbsp. Sure enough, it was yummy but too doughey Looks off but 3 tbsp is exactly right. Follow the instructions to the T and you've got a foolproof meal.

This was a GREAT kid friendly meal. I have 3 kids who are adventurous at times but usually prefer "safe" foods. I had leftover grilled chicken in the fridge from a previous meal and needed a quick and easy recipe for the kids that used ingredients on hand. This was PERFECT. Crescent rolls are always a yummy, buttery bread and put w/ chicken & cheese, how could you go wrong? The kids asked for seconds! Thanks for posting.

I tried this recipe because I had all the ingredients on hand. It's great to use up left over chicken. My husband loved this so much I make it once a week for him.
