Green Bean and Corn Casserole

ingredients
2 cans green beans (drained)
2 cans corn (drained)
2 cans cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
16 ounces sour cream
3 cups grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 large onion
2 sleeves Club crackers
1 cup butter, melted
1 dash seasoned salt
directions
Mix all ingredients together except for the crackers and the butter. Place mixed ingredients in a 9 x 13 pan (or other deep casserole dish).
Combine melted butter with crushed crackers. Pour over the top of the other ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes.
Good with meat or poultry.

The Dish drew raves, the best dish of the day at Thanksgiving. I drained and washed the green beans and corn used cream of celery soup, and used one sleeve of club crackers with 1 cup of french fried onions.

This is a good side dish for special occasions however, the recipe above as is serves many more than 8. You can cut it in half and still serve 8 people easily. It was also a bit runny but I might not have completely drained the veggies. I'd fix it again. : )
My grandchildren really like this. It's so easy and can be made with ingredients a person usually has on hand. It can be done while your finishing up cleaning before company comes.
