Seven Minute Marshmallow Frosting

ingredients
2 unbeaten egg whites
6 tablespoons cold water
3 grains salt
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can coconut or chocolate jimmies
directions
Combine the first five ingredients, blending thoroughly in top of double boiler over briskly boiling water. Immediately beat with electric beater until frosting stands in stiff peaks, approximately 7 minutes.
Slowly beat in miniature marshmallows until melted. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Frost cake, and sprinkle with coconut or chocolate jimmies.
